The house is well maintained but in its original state. It has been in constant use as a holiday home for its owner and is perfectly habitable as it is. There is no airconditioning, but it is designed to let the sea breezes pass through and it was nice and cool inside when I visited in 35ºC August.

This gated community of 16 attached houses were built in 1969 by a group of architects, as summerhouses for themselves and members of their families. They picked the best available plot, close to the best available beach and put their joint skills to work to build the best possible holiday homes. At least two generations have happy childhood memories of summers spent here.
Many of the houses are still in the ownership of the original families and they rarely come up for sale, but over the last fourteen years, we have helped new families to buy and completely renovate 4 of these houses. They are now the happy owners of modern homes with all the facilities you would expect in a new-build.
